How do I participate in the silent and live auctions?
First Tee – Greater Charleston’s auction will run through an online site called Qtego.  You MUST register in order to participate.  CLICK HERE to get to our unique Qtego page and then click on the register for event button.  The site will walk you through registration from there.

What is the attire for the GALA?
Dressy casual.  CLICK HERE to see what attendees wore to last year’s Gala.

What time does the GALA begin and where is it?
Registration for the Gala begins at 5:45 and it is in the Sweetgrass Inn ballroom (enter the hotel lobby and take a right)The timeline is as follows:

5:45p Registration, Cocktail Party, & Silent Auction
7:00p Plated Dinner and Program Starts
8:00p Live Auction Begins
9:00p Checkout Opens


What time does the golf tournament start and where is it?
The golf tournament is a 10 am shotgun start at the Links Course on Wild Dunes.  The timeline is as follows:

9:00a  Registration Opens
10:00a  Shotgun Start at Links Course
Transportation is available to and from Sweetgrass Inn.


Where am I going?
All Gala attendees are going to 5757 Palm Blvd – Welcome Center Gate.

IF YOU ARE STAYING THE EVENING – give the gate attendee your last name and they will direct you to the valet (those staying at at Boardwalk Inn should valet and check in at the Boardwalk Inn, those staying at Sweetgrass Inn or Residence should valet and check in at Sweetgrass Inn).

IF YOU ARE ONLY ATTENDING THE GALA – tell them you are there for the First Tee event and they will direct you to the Sweetgrass Inn valet.

Where do I park?
Complimentary valet is available to all guests attending the Gala.  You may also self-park.

What time can I check into my room?
4:00 pm.

Can I add an additional room night to extend my stay (either Thursday 9 or Saturday 10)?
Yes.  An additional room night is $349 and available first come, first serve.  Additional room nights should be booked through First Tee to avoid confusion and ensure the negotiated room rate.  If you need to book an additional room night, please contact Charlie Wiser.

What should I expect from Wild Dunes Resort regarding COVID?
All Wild Dunes Resort staff are required to wear masks when indoors.
Sanitizer stations are prominently placed throughout hotels.
More frequent cleaning of public spaces and guest room surfaces.
Accreditation of through Global Biorisk Advisory Council of detailed cleanliness training.
Enhanced food safety and hygiene protocols.
Removal of certain high-touch items from guest rooms.
